Split-Screen Suggestions
There are two main purposes which we always strive to uphold with Split-Screen. Firstly, we want to keep writing with genuine enthusiasm and interest, about things that we think are interesting, or that we think our known readers would find interesting. The other thing is to create something unique for a group of like-minded people who I happen to think are awesome (that's you guys).
With this in mind, I want to encourage you to keep leaving feedback and suggestions for us. No matter what, this is what will seperate us from the other gaming blogs and websites that you visit. You can make a difference here because we are able to listen. If you, for example, think that there's not enough sports game coverage, then tell us. Even better, figure out an interesting way to report on them and begin contributing.
Right now, the only thing we can offer is somewhere you can call your own. So use it.
Anyway, enough with the sentimentals. Get registered. Get a fucking rad avatar and start posting! Use this thread for any suggestions and why not go crazy by starting your own thread! Holy shit!

There is no avatar more awesome than yours!
IMO any sports game coverage is too much - but that's not a popular opinion
I'd personally like to see some more XBLA game mentions - I don't think I've seen any yet. I signed up for the beta preview of the new dashboard and it has an awesome rating system (that is going to be abused and shouldn't be trusted - but it is a good idea) for everything on the live marketplace. Unsurprisingly the top games are geometry wars evolved 2, braid and castle crashers. All of which I'm glad to have paid for
The new avatar marketplace is now part of the 'customize avatar' program, which has been given a HEFTY update, and hopefully, some time this week you will see my avatar sporting a halo tee and playing with a monkey island bottle of seltzer
Also, you can launch games from the achievement browser - just to boost your GS more (you can tell by mine that I'm not that fussed on boosting - if I can get it I get it, I WILL NOT GRIND I'm looking at you Seriously 2.0) and it lists how many achievements out of the total possible you have (and same for score) on the second panel. Also, it shows how long you have been a member of XBL, not a clue what the purpose of that is...
So, my 2cents - more arcade. Turtles in time is out in a week!!!!

By 'heart' we assume you mean 'penis'.

We could collect all of your past reviews etc. in a forum on here so that people can refer back to them? But only those more than a couple of weeks old so that people go to split-screen for up to date news. Good idea?
As an aside I read this and
this at Destructoid - it makes some pretty good reading. I <3 Destructoid. Let's see if we can get split-screen better!
