Do you like non-narrative secret achievements
Achievement Unlocked
Ok, so I want to know your view on secret achievements. I'm all for them if reading the achievement list will give away plot twists (defeating atlas in Bioshock *sorry if you've not played it - but damn, its no spring chicken so why the hell not? especially seeing as its the best fps bar none*) but what the hell is the point of the ones in things like Guitar Hero?
IMO the point of achievements should be firstly to reward the player for playing the game, and secondly to extend the life of the game by asking you to do something that your initial response to would be something different (like meleeing 30 tickers in gow2 - first response to anything is generally to shoot it...) so that the £40 provides more value [this is the main reason I aim for as much as I can be bothered with in a game - that I feel I get value for money]. There is a third option, but it is for the l33t [guess what it is].
So as you can tell these secret achievements that could make you play a game more that do not provide narrative seem absolutely and utterly pointless to me. In fact, most of the time they really annoy me.
What's your view?

Frankly, I bloody hate them. They just make you jump onto XBOX360achievements.org. Stupid really. I like 'clue' ones, where you have to solve a riddle.
Re: Achievement Unlocked
My favourite clue ones are the ones in PGR4 - especially the one with the DeLorian
Still hate secret ones...
